Itsaia Experience is a Young and dynamic sailing company, focused on sharing the charms of the Basque Coast with those who are passionate or curious about testing the essences of our sea.
With more than 30 years’ sailing along the Bay of Biscay, we invite you to join us for some days of sailing, fun and gastronomy. From beginners to experienced gastrosailors let us share with you our passion for boats, food, waves, tapas, sails, high gastronomy, speed, Michelin stars, the sea, wind and sun…
This is just an invitation to one of the most exiting experiences in the world’s most exciting gourmet coastal destination, Donostia-San Sebastian has one of the highest concentrations of Michelin stars, the First Gastronomic University in the World “The Basque Culinary Center” and was recently hailed as one of the world’s TOP FIVE CITIES by the American magazine Condé Nast Traveler.

Iñigo Gil
Iñigo is an passionate. Sailing and Gastronomy and their greatness, are definitively his favorite ones.
“I am not a conventional chef. I have never studied in any famous cooking academy….but I have had the opportunity to learn the discipline in San Sebastian. I have cooked in different stoves, different specialties, different recipes, always learning from the greatest chefs. Listening and writing down notes of advice from chefs like Martin Berasategui”.
“Now I go after a new goal, almost an obsession: to improve the quality of meals on board, in navigation and in port”.
“Would you like to enjoy real gastronomy on board? In sailing race or with some friends? Learn our recipes for your crossings?”.
Jagoba Azkuna
You will mix up Jagoba and The Sea. There is some mysticism in the way he sees the wind, feels the waves, hears the sails and touches the ropes in the boat. Something inexplicable and infectious…he loves sharing his world with our guests.
